Podcasting is a powerful platform for content creators not only because it has the potential for massive distribution but also because it’s a platform that you have full control over.

With a podcast, you control the hosting, you control the distribution and you can have people listen to it on Apple iTunes, Spotify, Google, Stitcher, SoundCloud, iHeartRadio and the many others podcasting platforms.

Pros to Podcasting:

It’s a really fast medium — there’s not a lot of post-production. It’s not location sensitive, you can be anywhere and you can record a Podcast episode from anywhere. 

You can record a Podcast show in a studio; while traveling; in other countries; different offices. It’s also one of the few mediums that audiences can listen to while they’re doing something else — multitasking like cooking, cleaning, working out, commuting — it’s really consumable for long periods of time.
