G & R Campground, the only black-owned campground in Delaware and is situated on over 32 acres, offering 200 plus RV and tent sites, cabins, glamping options, and a plethora of amenities perfect for unplugging from the hustle and bustle and reconnecting with nature.

The campground was previously owned by Norman Dempster and has been a staple in the community for nearly 30 years. The historical significance of the campground is, that it was a private club for African American soldiers returning from World War I and World War II and a spot for Negro League practice.  Over the years, it has been a space for community, fellowship, and recreation for people from diverse backgrounds.

Some of the amenities and offerings at G & R Campground include festival fields, performance stages, a swimming pool, cabins, and glamping experiences.  There is also an activity hall, this place is a haven for families and individuals to unwind, relax, and create lasting memories.
