60 years ago on September 20th 1961 at 3:14 PM, Antionette Marie Cross was born weighing 6 lbs. 2 ounces and 18″ in Cincinnati, Ohio at Catherine Booth Hospital.
I don’t have, nor would I share if I did have any baby pictures and this is not going to be a long blog post about how life has treated me – it’s just simply to say, today, I celebrate my 60th Birthday with many blessings and no regrets and many thanks to you all for supporting me!
However, I did want to share a few fun facts from the day I entered this world with a look back to September 20, 1961.

The US president was John F. Kennedy (Democrat), the UK Prime Minister was Harold Macmillan (Conservative), Pope John XXIII was leading the Catholic Church. Famous people born on this day include James Colby and Becky Larson. In that special week of September people in US were listening to Take Good Care Of My Baby by Bobby Vee. In UK Johnny Remember Me by John Leyton was in the top 5 hits. The Hustler, directed by Robert Rossen, was one of the most viewed movie released in 1961 while Life With Women And How To Survive It by Joseph H. Peck was one of the best selling book.

Happy 60th Birthday! Love the Sapphire, my birthstone is a ruby. I loved that you included what happened in history during your birth year. My mom and dad gave me a scrapbook when I turned 40 and they had included that “Snapshot in History”, interesting!
