Disclosure: I was provided with the Motorola Moto 360 Smartwatch (2nd Gen) from Verizon Wireless in order to facilitate this review, all opinions are 100% my own. I appreciate your support of my blog and that of the brands that I love.
If you are a regular reader of my blog and had an opportunity to read this Father’s Day post then you will recall that I also received a ladies style Moto360 Smartwatch to review. I have been wearing it almost constantly since then because the Moto360 Smartwatch matched everything that I wore for the entire month of June.
With a jewelry box full of watches and rings sitting atop my dresser drawer I could have worn a different watch with each outfit, however, I chose to wear the Moto360 Smartwatch – why because not only can you change the dial style faces but you can also change the colors!
Another design plus was the size of the face which has an edge to edge glass that gave a better and bigger viewing area so I didn’t always need my glasses.
I wore the Moto360 Smartwatch with this white dress for a photo shoot;
I then wore the Moto360 Smartwatch with this hi-low dress at the NorthDelaWHERE Happenings Awards Event in Philly;
I also wore the Moto360 Smartwatch to the grocery store while shopping with hubby;
and I even wore the Moto360 Smartwatch around the pool during the holiday weekend, note: it is not water proof so make sure to take it off before getting into the pool.
I liked getting email notifications and texts on my wrist without having to grab my phone each time. Also it was great having the ability to check my fitness goals, tracking the number of steps that I made during the day, which as you can see, I need to make more of them!
I also prefer watches with leather bands because they fit better than those with links, the bands can be adjusted to fit any size wrist without having to take it to a jeweler to remove links.
The Rose Gold Stainless Steel base was a perfect compliment to my other pieces of jewelry so I was able to wear it with most of my outfits with the ability to change the color of the face color to match any of them.
Not ever having had a Smartwatch before it did take a bit of getting used to over several days, I was able to upload the apps that I used most often. The charging station provides more than 24 hours of power, that is unless you are checking your apps and notifications several times per day and then the power diminishes more quickly and dies, which happened once.
I synced the Moto360 Smartphone to my Samsung Android phone and uploaded a few of my favorite apps. I was able to check my calendar appointments, get the latest weather report and traffic updates right on my wrist.
To be honest, initially, out of the box I wasn’t overly impressed with the Moto360 Smartwatch, however, the longer I wore and customized it, the better I liked it and found myself wearing it almost daily leaving the other watches in the jewelry boxes.

Looking good in your outfits Ms. Blake. Keep the good blogs coming. You’re climbing to the top of the search engines. Don’t forget the “little people” when you make it to the top of the “blogging mountain.” 🙂
Thank you, I do appreciate your comments and glad that you are following along!
This watch seems awesome and you are looking good as always. I love accessories that can easily be worn with basically any outfit.
Thank you Victoria, I even amazed myself for wearing it so often. I really liked it.
What a gorgeous watch – so much more attractive than other smart watches I’ve seen. I love a big faced watch so I’ll keep a look out for this one.
Yes, I also liked it better than the Apple Watches as it looked more like jewelry and less like “work out wear”.
Less techie!
Wow, this watch is cool! I love how techy things like watches have become. Very nice! #productreviewparty
Yes, welcome to the age of ioT, internet of things. We are connecting to everything now.
Does the watch come with changing wrist bands. I mean were there two bands in the box or one .
No, which was something that would have made it better especially since the beige band got dirty quickly.
I haven’t wore a watch in years. I probably should though instead of pulling out my cell phone all the time, it’ll help prevent me from hopping on social media. Great watch Sis! Smart watches are so cool!

I know, a lot of people don’t wear watches because they use their cell phones. To be honest, I only wear one out of habit and because I am used to checking my wrist for the time. I do however, like the Smartwatches because I can delete emails from my wrist and when it’s time to sit down at my computer it’s less ‘spam filled’.
