Sara Speaks – “A Signature Pigment” @ TEDx Wilmington

I had an opportunity to interview Sara Crawford-Jones, a woman that I am honored to call, “friend” and who is also a speaker at today’s TEDxWilmington Conference being held at the Queen Theatre in Wilmington, DE.

TEDxWilmington Speaker

I met Sara several years ago at a few events sponsored by the Women’s Business Center, an organization that helped me with my Business Plan when I started A.Blake Enterprises.

We have since collaborated on other events including two Workshops that I conducted for the WBC in June; she and her mom both attended my Blogging and Beauty Mixer and we have another event scheduled for September.

Sara is more than a TEDx Wilmington speaker, she is also a Fashion Designer, an Author, a Blogger, Vlogger and a dedicated woman who works with numerous non-profits including the Division for the Visually Impaired and The National Diabetes Association.

During our interview, she talked about her childhood dreams, obstacles that she faced, her support system, the death of her dad and what motivates her to push through it all.  Sara is such a positive and supportive woman and our interview was fun and entertaining for which I am glad to have had the opportunity to do so.

Sara was also one of my first guests on Social Media Sunday with the Delaware Blogger and I appreciated her support as I launched.  Click the link to listen to the interview with her –Podcast Interview

This compelling story shares how Sara’s Albinism (lack of color) galvanized not only her career but her greatest passion…one built in a world FULL of color – FASHION! ❤️

  1. Glad to hear the great news about a fellow blogger. Hopefully she’ll start blogging soon and offer her expertise to the web universe. Looking forward to hearing more good news about her! 🙂

    1. Thank you, Sara is such a busy lady that blogging is now on the back burner, but you can probably find some of her stuff online from the previous years.
