Good morning dear Del. I like the wonderful list you prepared but I think something ( or rather someone is missing) Where is your dear husband in all of this? Oh, he’s after the Streaming Box at post no. 12. Well, at least he’s not in post 13 or 17 ( the bad luck number for persons of Italian heritage). Please save some turkey and mashed potatoes for moi on Thursday.
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your beautiful family!
Ahhh, but he is included in the bonus – lol As I am thankful for having virtual friend such as yourself – thank you for always making me smile with your comments! Happy Thanksgiving my friend.
Gotcha you! Poor husband, he’s a martyr in that household.
so now that you have made me feel guilty – I have updated my list – thank you my friend!
I just LUV to make women feel guilty: it’s their weakest point. And we have to take advantage of it!
Thank you DUDE!
Amen! There are so many people in unfortunate and compromised living situations. My grandmother used to say if you have your health you have everything. I used to roll my eyes but now I totally agree!
Yes, health is very important because without it nothing else truly matters.
Here is my list…
1. Sunrises and sunsets that remind me of the marvel of creation and the power and love of the creator
2. The unconditional love of family and true friends, who accept me for who I am and not who they want me to be.
3. Having a passion and satisfying work that I do every day, including volunteer work
4. Bad days and hard times that help me appreciate the goo days even MORE.
5. The ability to be generous with others and to benefit from the generosity of others
Darlene, these are beautiful sentiments which is why you are truly blessed by the best! Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.
That about covers it!
