Amazon Prime Day Products for Podcasters, Bloggers and Vloggers

Woohoo, tomorrow begins the unofficial kickoff of the online holiday shopping season! I know…I know, we have all been ordering from Amazon since the pandemic, but October 13th and 14th is Amazon Prime Day, which is their version of Black Friday and there are some great deals going on right now so head over now!

Now, that we got that part out of the way, let me tell you what I have already purchased as well as what I plan on purchasing and we are going to start with my Podcasting Your Purpose Resource Guide

When I was a new podcasters in 2017, I purchased a lot of unnecessary equipment, so in this post I am only showing you what I currently have and use, however, there is a lot of other equipment out there that you can compare them to.

I also use this portable sound booth when recording from my Smartphone.

Headphones are also good when using the Yeti Mic or any other mic to be honest, as it keeps external noises to a minimum and allows me to concentrate on my speaking or that of my interview guests.

I use these Koss Headphones and they plug directly into my Yeti Mic making it easy to use when connecting to my laptop when recording on Zoom.

Vlogging Products

Many of my clients have scheduled a 30-Minute Complimentary Discovery Calls before signing up for my Blogging and/or Podcasting Coaching Sessions.

Once they sign up each sessions is recorded via Zoom then sent to them for reference. In my home office I have a picture of the “Basic Blogging Tips for Beginners” book cover hanging behind me which is great for promotion, however, as a Knowledge Facilitator for the EC Podcast Knowledge Academy I needed a virtual background.

To be honest, it didn’t work for me as it was too narrow for full coverage and it was a pain to re-fold. I was however able to use it for OOTD photos, but it’s in the back of the closet.

I then purchased the EMART 5×7 ft Non-Woven Fabric Solid Color Green Screen Photo Backdrop with 2 x Backdrop Clamps for Photoshoot, Studio, Video and Television.

I installed it using a 3-Hole Punch, Shower Rings, Curtain Rod and Command Strip Hooks so that I can use it when needed for the Knowledge Academy Logo and push back when I don’t.

Blogging Products

I purchased this CanMixs Smart Watch for Android Phones iOS Waterproof Smart Watches for Women to remind me to get up and walk around and get some exercise to avoid a “blogger’s butt”.

This was my latest purchase as I need to move into the 21st Century when it comes to my bedside alarm and the Echo Show 5 is the perfect product and stay tuned for the review.
