This episode of “Out & About with Antionette” is my interview with Chef Bea who is creating sweet treats and giving back to the community in Dover, Delaware.
Chef Beatrice Smith is the owner of Bea Delightful Cakes, a home bakery specializing in Haitian delicacies and custom cakes, treats and gourmet popcorn located in Dover, DE. However, she, is originally from New York where her love for baking began using special ingredients from Haiti which she learned from her mother.

When she is not baking for Brides, Birthdays or other special occasions, she can be found at various events that feeds the homeless and she is collecting disaster relief funds for Haiti through her Metellusfoundation.org foundation. She also donates desserts to the Ronald McDonald House in Wilmington because her faith and belief of “Christ Honors Those Who Gives” keeps her motivated.
