The best part of the holidays for me is sleeping in late and being comfy, cozy in loungewear or pajamas for the remainder of the day.  I can still remember how my sister, Gloria (RIP) and I would spend Christmas mornings opening up gifts from beneath our Charlie Brown Tree, then sitting around watching movies and sipping Orange Juice and eating all day long. 

However, before any pictures could be taken with our Kodak Camera, she had to make sure that her makeup was on and her clothing was appropriate, and to think this was way before social media and the internet and many years before I got married and had kids. 

 

 

Although Gloria is no longer with me, it is during the holidays that I think back on those days while looking through old pictures of us lounging in pajamas, laughing at the looks and crying over the loss.  So when I received the latest Avon Catalog, the women on the cover reminded me of our Christmas mornings together, comfy and cozy.
