When snow is in the forecast and football is on the tube, it’s time for to pull out the Crock Pot and do a little slow cooking.
Last Sunday it was Crock Pot Chicken and Noodles
Ingredients
- 1 bag of frozen boneless, skinless chicken tenderloins
- 1 container of Chicken Broth
- 1 jar of Alfredo Sauce
- 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
- 1/4 tsp Poultry Seasoning (optional)
- 8 oz. Egg Noodles, uncooked
Instructions
- Place the chicken tenderloins in the bottom of the slow cooker
- Pour in the chicken broth and Alfredo Sauce
- Sprinkle in seasoning
- Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours, or high for 3-4 hours
- Remove the chicken from the pot and shred with two forks
- Return the shredded chicken back to the slow cooker add the dry egg noodles and stir. Continue cooking for 30-45 minutes, until noodles are tender
