Disclosure: I was provided with the Motorola Moto 360 Smartwatch (2nd Gen) from Verizon Wireless in order to facilitate this review, all opinions are 100% my own. I appreciate your support of my blog and that of the brands that I love.
For years, Father’s Day received the short end of the stick when it came to holidays. It wasn’t as hyped as Mother’s Day and retailers oftentimes advertised some really boring gifts. If you remember back in the day it was mainly ties, tools, cologne, and the old standby “soap on the rope!”
However, Dad’s Day has become a much better holiday with us spending more time with him and the gift options have definitely improved.
I often look back on the pictures of my sons with their father and think just how blessed I am to have them in my life. When our youngest son is away at college and our oldest working almost daily, spending time together as a family is very important and it is time well spent.
The Motorola Moto 360 Watch is wearable technology that allows hubby to sync his iPhone 5 to stay in touch via text or keep an eye on the location of Malik’s whereabouts. He can also keep up with his daily fitness levels by downloading the Moto Body app and can check his steps without having to carry his phone.
With the Motorola Moto 360, hubby can get email and text notifications, news and traffic reports and simply stay connected without having to constantly check his phone.
The Motorola Moto 360 is also available in women’s collections, and I am currently wearing the one below. Next week I’ll be back to tell you more about it but so far I am loving it.
When the Moto 360 is fully charged the battery life lasts about a full day which is great but you may lose some battery life if like me are constantly getting and checking social media notifications.
You can, however, leave it in the Qi stand for about 35 minutes to return it to a full charge. It’s not a bulky watch and hubby found it to be comfortable. The only drawback are the customized options; there are limitations with his iPhone due to the propriety nature of Apple and their Apple Watch technology which is another reason why I love being #TeamAndroid
However, all in all, for the price, the Motorola Moto 360 Smartwatch is a nice addition to hubby’s valet and he will think of his sons and Father’s Day each time he looks down at his wrist!
I am wishing a Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there!
Let’s Chat: what do you think was the worst Father’s Day gift?
In loving memory of my father, Talvage Cross, Jr.

I love the photo of the men!
Father’s Day is bittersweet for me since the man who raised me since I was age 1 (my stepdad) died several years ago. I have a relationship with my biological father, but he doesn’t feel like a father to me. So Father’s Day each year I celebrate it with Mr. M and our girls.
Great gift ideas Sis. I ask what Mr. M wanted, and he told me nothing. So, I guess we’ll be hanging around the house that day.

I know what you mean, as my grandmother raised me and I didn’t have a real relationship with my dad and neither did hubby. I am just glad that both boys are home to celebrate with him. Have a wonderful weekend!
I like how you used your review of the Motorola Moto 360 Smartwatch to celebrate dads with a great Father’s Day gift. I enjoyed your post!
Thank you, yes, the gift of time is very important so it seemed appropo for the post to coincide.
Nice watch. I think the worst gifts for men are those that don’t fit their interest. For example buying a man a tablet and he doesn’t like gadgets. Or buying a man a set of golf clubs and he doesn’t golf. The gifts that are meaningful are those that are thought Out to fit the fathers interests?
So true sis, but I often find that no matter what I get hubby including gift certificates, he never uses them! I am not sure what my sons had in mind, but I am buying him dinner so that I don’t have to cook!
That looks like a awesome watch. My kids dad wants a smartwatch, but I’ve already gotten him two and they didn’t last past a month so that idea went out my head. I did unique gifts for him this year. He’s getting a bag full of random things basically, but they are all things he’ll find interesting and I had the boys make some crafts for him.
This is our first Smartwatch and it does take a little getting used to, but I would hate to have to put out money for a watch that doesn’t last more than 30 days – you did take them back right? I am sure he is going to love the kids crafts the best! Enjoy the weekend sis.
This is the perfect gift for dads! My hubby would love this. #productreviewparty
