I was able to kick it off a little early with an interview by Omar Rashada, host of Community Issues on Comcast Channel 190 which is scheduled to air on March 1st.
Interview of the Delaware Blogger by Omar Rashada on Community Issues on Comcast Channel 190 in Wilmington celebrating Women’s History Month
Dr. Melissa Knights and I were guests on Community Issues to kick off Women’s History Month
I also had an opportunity to met Dr. Melissa Knights who was the second guest on the show and we met afterwards for lunch at the Metro Diner in Middletown.
Dr. Knight and I were so compatible that we made plans to meet up again next month to work on a Masterclass that will be beneficial to us both, talk about women making history!
In the meantime, this Sunday at Barnes and Noble, I along with 9 African American Female Authors will be participating in a Local Author Showcase book signing which is perfectly timed for Black History Month as we head into Women’s History Month.
If not, head over to the Traffic Jam Weekend Linky Party to read and share posts written by the women who are the hosts of this great online networking event in honor of Women’s History Month.

Many states have programs like this and if yours doesn’t maybe you can start one with your church group or as a class project.”Lisa chose A Sprinkle of Fancy by Ever Ready. “I love Fancy Nancy and the book and show are big hits with my nieces. And this post about Chocolate Pots de Creme is both delicious and pretty. Perfect for a Fancy Nancy tea party.”Michelle chose Cropped Sarasota Cardi-Free Crochet Pattern by Eye Love Knots. “I’m always amazed when people can crochet clothing.
