On this episode of Blog Your Way to a Business Profit Podcast I talked about 4 ways to make money with your blog.
Many people starts blogs as a way to earn additional income, and some are pretty successful, as a matter of fact, a fellow blogger friend of mine from Atlanta was actually able to leave her 9-5 and is earning a decent salary now and have been doing so for over 5 years, so it’s quite do-able.
However, please note: she started blogging in 2008, which was over 12 years ago and she wasn’t an overnight sensation, she was more like a 7 year overnight sensation. Back when she started blogging, it wasn’t looked at as a way to earn, the way it is now, influencer marketing is big business, just ask anyone with the last name of Kardashian.
However, you don’t have to have a huge following like Mrs. West to start monetizing, just make sure that you are conversational in your writing, using the pronouns, You & I so that your readers feel comfortable with you and begin to trust you.
The paragraphs should be short and skimmable, as most won’t read a full blog post and that you ask a question or a CTA at the end of the post so that you can build a relationship and have engagement with your audience.
