KaleidoscopeDE 2017 Cancer Conference

Cancer…a word that conjures up emotions such as fear and uncertainty, despair and hopelessness.

Cancer…a word that approximately 1 in 3 women will hear as a diagnosis in her lifetime.

Cancer…a word that makes even the strongest person feel vulnerable.

Cancer…a word that forever changed my life.

2017 marks Nicolle Surrette’s 6th “cancer-versary” as a breast cancer “thriver!” The great news is that the number of women like her who are living with cancer is on the rise. As we embrace a “new normal,” the shift into survivorship comes with its own challenges. There IS life after cancer treatment. However, women cancer survivors must assume more responsibility for their health and well-being.

Nicolle’s company, NspireD, proudly announces the 2nd Annual KALEIDOSCOPE: Empowering Survivors ~ Mind, Body & Spirit Conference for women living with all types of cancer. A kaleidoscope, which can be defined as a “diverse collection,” has its origin in the Greek language and means “an observation of beautiful forms.” On September 23, 2017, a diverse collection of approximately 100 beautiful cancer survivors and their female caregivers will converge at the Ramada Inn in Newark, Delaware.

The conference will help women improve their health and reduce their risk of cancer recurrence in ways that do not require prescription medications. Workshop topics for last year’s inaugural event included mindfulness, meditation, exercise, nutrition, and stress management. Topics for this year include holistic dentistry: the mouth-body connection, narrative medicine: writing for wellness, Oncology yoga, and more.

“I ask that you consider partnering with NspireD for this event with sponsorship opportunities still available. This year, NspireD is working with Film Brothers to offer full promotional videos to sponsors. What a great way to advertise your business beyond the fall conference. A reply on or before September 5, 2017, would be much appreciated. If you have any questions and/or would like more information, please contact me at 610.812.9997.”

Cancer…a small word that touches everyone in some way, shape or form.

KALEIDOSCOPE was created to help survivors manage survivorship better. As a partner, please do not focus on the cost of sponsorship. Instead, I ask that you think about what it will provide in terms of your return on investment, and its impact on improving the quality of life for cancer survivors.

For your consideration, I thank you!
