Wayback Wednesday – Mother’s Day Magazine

Happy Mother’s Day to all my friends, family and followers.  I hope you enjoyed your day, no matter what you did or didn’t do.  I started my day at Church but not before taking a few pictures with Tayair who had to go to work later at Home Depot.  We also took a few pics holding a portrait of Malik, who as you know is away at Bowie State University and won’t be home until Friday.

Hubby turned on the Keurig for my morning coffee but forgot to put in a Pod so I ran late for church getting there at 11:30 but I needed my caffeine.

This week’s Wayback Wednesday post is not going to cover the 60s or 70s, as we are only going back two years to 2015.  If you have been following my previous blog, DeDivahDeals, then you would have remembered the series of posts entitled Headed to Hollywood in which I chronicled my trip to California to be a Brand Ambassador for Depend/Walmart for a Vibrant Nation Campaign and appeared in the May issue of Woman’s Day Magazine.

Needless to say, this was an exciting accomplishment in my blogging career and although there hasn’t been anything to top it, I haven’t given up.  As a matter of fact, I just got back from New York hosting the 1st Annual Brand Ambassador Award Launch for AAU Global Production Media Group and next Sunday, I will be hosting my first Blogging and Beauty Mixer at the Reallook Med Spa.

This is the dress that I received for the photo shoot which is a Diane Von Ferstenberg and at the time the retail value was over $300 – which is by far the most expensive dress in my closet.

The shoes were a recent purchase from Ross and I love the chunky heels, a throwback classic from the 60s.

The purse, Relic Brand was purchase from Kohl’s last summer and the color is a perfect compliment to the dress.

Let’s Chat: what is the most expensive item in your closet?
