Hubby and I had an opportunity to visit the new Naf Naf Grill at it’s Pre-Grand Opening on Monday evening.
Naf Naf Grill is located at 60 Goffrey Drive next to the shopping center that once housed Toys ‘r Us.
Naf Naf Grill serves Middle Eastern cuisine and trust me it is well worth the trip for lunch or dinner. According to their website, “At Naf Naf, we believe in the power of discovery and connecting cultures through a craveworthy culinary experience.
We promise to fan the flame of your curiosity and be your guide to exploring the best flavors of the Middle East, with generous servings of our authentic, handmade dishes, like pillowy pita, crispy falafel, savory shawarma, and our scratch-made signature sauces.
All of this deliciousness is offered in the true spirit of Middle Eastern hospitality, by our teams who welcome you in to discover, delight, and share” and trust me it was just like that – as soon as you walk in the door you are welcomed by both staff and management as well.
I had an opportunity to talk to the District Manager Gerard Wall, and I streamed live on Facebook, however, it didn’t turn out that well so I am not going to add it to this post but everyone seemed to be excited that Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill now has a location in Delaware.
While I shot the video and took pictures hubby ordered our Bowls which we decided to take home to eat and of course take more photos. Hubby chose the ingredients for our Bowls which was lined with Hummus and included Basmati Rice, Romaine Lettuce, Chicken Shawarma, Chopped Salad made with cucumbers and tomatoes, Purple Cabbage, Sumac Onions and I topped mine with Tahini and S’khug Sauch which set my mouth ablaze just like I like it!!!
He also ordered a Falafal and like the packaging says, “What’s It Feel Like to Hold a Cloud?” the Pita Bread was pillowy soft and oh so decadent, of course I only ate a little bit #diabeticdiet but there was more than enough to make a second meal.
Naf Naf the cut-out Camel greets you at the front reminding me of the “Hump Day” commercial which by the way is when I will be back for the official New Castle County Chamber of Commerce Ribbon Cutting.
The Naf Naf Bakery makes the pillowy soft Pita bread every morning and it’s amazingly soft, you can buy additional packages which is conveniently located at the Cash Register as well as Baklava of which I had to pass up!
Download the Naf Naf’s new app to earn rewards and to order ahead. Use my code Antion3604 to get a free side with purchase just for signing up. Click here to learn more: https://engagement.punchh.com/b/nafnafgrill
I couldn’t wait to get home to sit down, relax and enjoy my meal, which was way more than I could eat in one sitting so I will I be eating the leftovers tomorrow for lunch.
So if you’re looking to try a new Middle Eastern Resturant, head over to Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill in Christiana and if you visit on Wednesday, the 20th, you can help suppport The Alzheimer’s Association with a donation that will go directly to the Delaware Valley Chapter. Be sure to say, “hey” as that’s where I’ll be with a few other Ambassadors from the New Castle County Chamber of Commerce.
