On Sunday I put out a Facebook request for Spaghetti Squash recipes and I want to thank everyone who contributed.
I had totally forgotten how easy and delicious it was to cook a spaghetti squash and this recipe was easy breezy and perfect for a family of three!
I washed a small Spaghetti Squash then using a sharp knife, I cut off the ends and cut the squash in half.
Scoop out the seeds then pour in Olive Oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Turn each piece upside down and place in a baking dish; put into a preheated oven at 350゚.
Bake in the oven for approximately 45-60 minutes or until done.
Carefully remove baking dish from the oven, flip the halves over and using a fork shred the insides.
You can serve the spagetti squash plain or top with your favorite sauce and meat I chose cooked Ground Turkey, diced tomatoes and sliced black olives.
Serve and enjoy!
Refrigerate any leftovers because it makes a great meal the next day.

Spaghetti Squash sounds sooooo good. Reminds me of the old school days of making traditional Squash in the frying pan with cooking grease and seasoning. Keep the food blogs coming. 🙂
Oh yes, cooking in a cast iron skillet is the best – but no more greasy foods for me! Thanks working on a new food blog post today!
I attempted to make spaghetti squash once but it went bad before I cooked it. You make it seem so easy, I should try it again.
That almost happened to me with an Eggplant, but I guarantee you’ll love the spaghetti squash when you do try it again.
