I usually don’t drink many slushies – however, this is so healthy. It would be so high in potassium, for example. I love watermelon on a hot summer day.
Yes, this definitely was refreshing and I will be drinking it throughout the dog days of summer. Thanks for stopping by and commenting – keep kool!
There’s nothing as refreshing as watermelon on a hot summer day!
So true and it’s much better to drink it than eat it – I think – lol. Enjoy the summer and be safe.
This is perfect timing! I just learned how to check a watermelon for sweetness when shopping. I was advised it’s supposed to have a yellow spot and when you tap it, it should have a springy, thumping sound like a drum when you tap it. Now I have an excuse to try it out!
Oh, I didn’t know that, thanks for sharing. I usually buy it pre-sliced because of the seeds, I don’t like seedless watermelon or seedless fruits for that matter. Thanks and hope you are staying cool!
Watermelon. . .aaah. Love it ice cold and love it as a slushie too. Enjoy Summer Sis.
Yes, and you can make it into an “adult beverage” with Tequila – have a wonderful weekend sis!
I love watermelon…this looks so refreshing…I have to try this!
Yes, I am going to get another melon today and create more as it’s HOT AS HECK here in Delaware.
My youngest daughter loves watermelon drinks. Thanks for the recipe Sis! I’ll pin it for later.
