Sundays are perfect for slow cooked meals especially when football games and my Podcasts play a major role in them.

So if you are looking for a quick and easy meal that will satisfy your family or a Big Game crowd, then try this slow cooked chicken fajita recipe.
Ingredients:

2 lbs boneless skinless chicken tenderloins

1 (16.5 oz) jar Salsa

1 red, orange and yellow pepper, julienned

1 package Fajita seasoning mix

1 large onion, sliced
For serving: Whole Wheat Wraps or Tortillas, Sour Cream, Cilantro, or Cheddar Cheese and Frank’s Red Hot Sauce

Instructions

Place 1/2 of the sliced peppers and onions on the bottom of the Crock Pot and top with chicken tenderloins, crisscrossed.

Evenly sprinkle entire package of the seasoning over chicken tenderloins.

Pour in 1/2 jar of salsa, then layer on remaining peppers and onions and top with remaining salsa.

Cover and cook on HIGH heat 3 – 4 hours or low heat 6 – 8 hours, until chicken, has cooked thoroughly and veggies are tender.

Stir to mix all ingredients then ladle onto warmed tortillas or wraps and top with shredded cheese or sour cream and optional hot sauce.
