If you are looking for a delicious, fall off the bone, finger licking good slow cooked meal, then you need to get yourself some Lamb Chops, a medium onion and an Ethiopian Spice Blend and you will be in seventh heaven!
Last month Tayair and I were shopping and I wanted to try something different, something other than chicken and with Thanksgiving only weeks away I decided to try the Lamb Chops and they were so good that we’ve had them twice since then.
This recipe is so easy and it will have your house smelling wonderfully!
Ingredients:
1- Large Onion
4 – Lamb Chops
Ethiopian Spice Blend
Instructions:
Cut onion into slices, then rub spice blend onto both sides of lamb chops.
Place half of the onion slices covering the bottom of the Slow Cooker then use the rest of the onions to top the Lamb Chops.
NO LIQUIDS ARE REQUIRED!
Cover and let cook on low for 6-8 hours and the meat will be falling off the bone!
I served it along with fresh green beans and mashed potatoes and you can use the drippings to top the potatoes if you wish.
Now, if you try this recipe and don’t like it, let me know and I’ll come over to your house to retrieve the leftovers as we never had any!
